Ryder-Cheshire Australia consists of a National Board, four Foundations and three Support Groups. There are Foundations in the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria along with Support Groups in Adelaide, Ballarat and Bendigo.

The Mission of Ryder-Cheshire Australia and its Foundations in Australia is: to relieve suffering without discrimination”.

To achieve this Mission, the Foundations operate three homes in Australia – in Mount Gambier and Singleton for the care of people with physical and intellectual disabilities, and in Melbourne (Ivanhoe) to provide accommodation for country and interstate patients (and their families) who are receiving treatment at Melbourne hospitals.

The Foundations also raise money for, and support the operation, maintenance and development of the Ryder-Cheshire homes Raphael, at Dehra Dun in northern India, and Klibur Domin, at Tibar in East Timor.
