An Open Garden Day at Rose Creek Estate
Saturday 25th February

Rose Creek Estate has been described as “a little bit of Tuscany in Melbourne” with the house and vineyard surrounded by olive trees, vines, fresh fruit and vegetables, all just a step from the back door. The Sicilianos established Rose Creek Estate based on their home town Varapodio in Italy. The views and family atmosphere around Rose Creek Estate and their passion for traditional Italian cuisine and living give the property in the suburbs a Mediterranean ambience. It  is part of the Open Garden Scheme, & the Sicilianos have generously offered us to share in the gate takings.

If you are interested & able to come along, I’m sure you’ll find it delightful. A description of Rose Creek from their website "Behind the houses of the streetscape, the 3ha block slopes steeply down to Rose Creek, a tributary of the Maribyrnong River. Fruit trees grow near the house, many hens peck under the trees, the 3000 vines are totally netted, and the block ringed with olive trees."

There will be wine and olive oil tastings on the day, and of course the opportunity to purchase these items. Lina also pickles her own olives and these will also be available to buy. We hope you are able to come – have a great day & support Ryder Cheshire.

2 Craig Street, EAST KEILOR
The garden is open from 10.00am to 4.30pm, & the entrance fee $7.00 per person, children free.
